Another thing to add to the list of things that I would rather not have happen my wedding week:

My mom's front tooth breaking in two.

While meeting with the pianist for lunch, her tooth just broke off before the food even arrived. Thankfully, she has a good dentist that fixed it within 2 hours of its occurence. Despite the bad situation, it could have been so much worse!
The main story on the news in Northwest Arkansas this morning:

Excessive Heat Warning this weekend.

Oh well. I hope no one passes out.

We found out this week that the person we were working with for catering at the hotel our reception is at no longer works there, will not be doing out event, and no, we cannot have her number and her email is no longer valid. This was two days after we talked to her, and she did not mention abruptly leaving the business with no trail to follow her.

Because of this, a lot of the reception has to start from the ground level. I also had 7,000 dollars taken out of my bank account, which contained about 200 dollars, instead of my mothers. To be locked out of your bank account, and then to access it from your mother's account and see you are 6,800 in the hole, is a very bad feeling.

This past weekend, my wonderful friends through me a fun-filled bachelorette party. I won't say much, but I will say it involved people meeting a family named Snodgrass at Sonic, taking a picture of a dog on a roof, breaking into a port-a-potty, sitting on a bar and hooting like a monkey, and temporarily borrowing an evergreen tree from a camping display in Dillards. I will also say it was a heap of fun.

My family? We rocko the chacos.

I just had to share a new discovery. This.... can take a few flowers and turn it into this....
Isn't that a cool vase?
This past weekend I was showered once with with wedding gifts from the extremely generous Russellville United Methodist Church.

(After not having any good diploma-holding pictures, I tried so hard to hold this straight. Failure.)

The creativity was abundant. I could post several pictures to prove this, but for now, just check out a poster one of the hostesses made.

In fact, I kept getting in trouble for not opening gifts fast enough. There was a schedule, after all. But I got so many nice things, I wanted to stop and savor them!

Anna, Tim's first cousin once removed, as well as his mom and aunt also helped celebrate. All in all, it was a grand time!

In fact, the only bad thing was that they alerted me about 3/4 of the way into the shower that however many bows I broke was how many children I'm going to have. Apparently, I'm going to give the Duggars a run for their money. I least there is the shred of hope that TLC will make a show for me.

And a major thanks to Danyelle for providing these pictures for me!
