GOALS, as written in my 4th grade diary:
Be in a movie
Publish a book
Win something
Be a fair/great rider (I'll clarify: of horses)
Meet Madeline L'Engle
(I'm so glad I kept the combination key stickered to the back of my journal. So much for having a lock.)

One thing I like about working for a company based in Korea is that job offers come in emails at 1:20 in the night/morning. This only slightly deviates from my theory on how no important decisions should be made after midnight (which saved many emergencies in college. I mean, thank the maker that they shut down the "add/drop"classes program at the University of Arkansas after 11:30 or so.).

One of the reasons I love Ben Folds is that, when a high school guys hands him a note onstage, he takes the time to read it. And when it turns out the note is asking Ben to say, "Rebecca, will you go to the prom with Jacob," Ben improvs a 4 minute, amazingly-complex song doing so. It even included audience participation.
In other news of awesomeness, here is Mulbery row, part of Monticello. The middle of spring break might have been a little stressful (I think graduate students should get 2 weeks, because it took me the whole week just to get caught up on other school work), but the surrounding weekends were pretty swell!
